Congratulations to Alison, Head of Citizenship at London Nautical, on the publication of her article, The Global Starts with Local, in the latest issue of Navigating Uncertain Times: The Role of Citizenship Education. Alison shares inspiration from the local active citizenship projects her students have undertaken at school. She also considers what to do when the idea of "the local" feels much broader, offering practical, usable activities to help teachers bring active citizenship into their own classrooms. We are proud to see Alison's expertise and passion for citizenship education recognised through this publication.

ITV London joined us at Kennington Park as the next generation of footballing talent from primary schools across Southwark, Lambeth and Westminster competed in the London Nautical Year 5 World Cup. The competition saw 12 schools each adopt a national team, battling through the group stages before progressing to the knockout rounds in a thrilling day of football.
