How to apply

Applications to the academy must be made through the London-wide eAdmissions website. To apply, you must register first. Typically, applications should be made between the start of September and the end of October during the academic year before starting secondary school. For more information, please refer to our step-by-step admissions timeline, below.

In the autumn term each year we host an Open Evening and a number of Open Mornings for prospective pupils and families to visit our academy and meet our students and staff. We recommend you book your place in advance.

You must apply to join London Nautical by the end of October deadline to submit an in-time application. All applications must be made through the eAdmissions website.

Places are offered on National Offer Day in March

Offers of secondary school places will be made at the beginning of March for the following September. Places must be accepted or declined within a two-week period from the offer day.

If you would like your application to be considered under ANY of the priority oversubscription criteria of Looked After Children; Siblings; Social/Medical Needs; Children of Staff, please complete the relevant details below.

Looked After Child (LAC)

Is this child now, or have they ever been in the care of a Local Authority or provided with Local Authority accomodation by that Authority (according to the Children Act 1989), Adopted or became subject to a residence order or special guardianship order (according to the Adoption and Children Act 2002) Evidence of LAC status MUST be provided.

Do you consider your child to have an exceptional social or medical need which can only be met at LNS?(Required)

Social/Medical applications must be supported by at least two forms of written professional evidence for example registered health professionals of social workers. Your evidence must be clear as to why LNS is the most suitable school and what difficulties would occur if the child had to go elsewhere. If yes support evidence MUST be provided.
