Citizenship Masterclass visit to SOAS
Published: Tue 7 July 2026A group of Year 9 students who have been taking part in our after school Citizenship Masterclass recently visited SOAS, University of London, for an exciting taster day.
During the visit, students took part in introductory lessons in Chinese and International Relations, giving them a flavour of university study while learning more about student life. They also had the opportunity to explore the campus and discover what higher education has to offer.
The day concluded with a visit to the British Library, where students viewed the historic Magna Carta. Having studied this significant document as part of their Citizenship course, seeing it in person brought an important part of their learning to life.
