Students and staff go the extra mile for Refuge
Published: Tue 21 July 2026Students and staff at London Nautical came together for a charity mile run along the Thames, raising £202 overall in support of Refuge, the UK’s largest specialist provider of support for women and children experiencing domestic abuse.
Organised by the school’s Equalities Council, the event highlighted an important issue, particularly as incidents of domestic abuse are known to increase during major football tournaments. By taking part, students and staff not only raised vital funds but also helped raise awareness of the cause.
The event was a fantastic success, bringing the school community together for an enjoyable afternoon while making a meaningful difference. Well done to everyone who took part and supported this important initiative.
